Who We Are
Washington Echo is a digital magazine that publishes articles and features about history, philosophy, and religion from a dissident perspective.
What We Believe
History should be recorded in accordance with fact. The purported facts of history should always be open to investigation and should not be distorted, censored, or outlawed for political purposes.
We reject the notion that history is inherently progressive. History is not a struggle between good forces and bad forces. History is the reality of our past, including all of its tragedies, cowards, conquerors, and conspiracies.
We strive to paint an accurate view of history and provide our readers with information about American history that academia refuses to acknowledge.
Note on Citations
We may cite scholarly sources to provide our readers with context. Do not mistake citations as a recognition of the legitimacy or authority of scholarly sources and academic institutions.
